Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update for HTC One Now Available in Canada

HTC along with Rogers, Virgin Mobile, Bell and TELUS are now pushing out the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OTA Update for the HTC One all over Canada. If you’re an HTC One owner then you should check the phone’s Software Updates menu or its notification panel for the OTA Update availability.
The new Android 4.3 OTA Update for HTC One features build number 3.22.631.1 and it is released in stages. This means that you shouldn’t worry in case the Software Update files aren’t available at the moment for your location. The update should hit all HTC One devices in Canada before October 14th, which is the date when Google is expected to present their latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system upgrade.
With this update you’ll get the latest Bluetooth 4.0 LE technology, OpenGL ES 3.0 software that will improve the graphics, BlinkFeed tweals and several small fixes for the Sense 5 interface. There are more small changes that should improve the overall stability of your HTC One, so that you’ll get the best Android 4.3 Jelly Bean experience.
Keep an eye on your phone’s notification panel or manually check for new updates by going through Settings > Software Update menu. Remember that the Android 4.3 OTA Update is rolling out in Canada for Rogers, Bell, TELUS and Virgin Mobile variants of the HTC One device. There is no official word on when the United States carriers will roll out the official update for HTC’s latest flagship smartphone.
If you got the update, then you should tell us in comments if there are any visible improvements after installing it. Also, try and test the battery life of HTC One on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
